Pulsed Electro Magnetic Field (PEMF) Therapy

Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) Therapy is the combination of the geomagnetic field of the earth and its frequencies along with the Schumann Resonance of the Ionosphere. These all-encompassing energies of the earth sustain our good health and energize us. PEMF devices duplicate the earth’s natural PEMF frequencies.

The body contains multiple electromagnetic fields with each tissue and organ having a unique electromagnetic signature. Computerized Axial Tomography (CAT) scans and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans take advantage of these unique signatures to create a map of the body’s tissues using pulsed electromagnetic fields.

PEMFs address impaired chemistry and thus the function of cells – which in turn, improves health. PEMFs deliver beneficial, health-enhancing EMFs and frequencies to the cells. Low frequency PEMFs of even the weakest strengths pass right through the body, penetrating every cell, tissue, organ and even bone without being absorbed or altered. As they pass through, they stimulate most of the electrical and chemical processes in the tissues. Therapeutic PEMFs are specifically designed to positively support cellular energy, resulting in better cellular health and function. By stimulating the cell’s electrical energy, it allows for faster absorption of nutrients and quicker elimination of waste products.  Metabolic systems are improved, blood and oxygen supply are increased, and cellular regeneration is activated in the cells of body.

This device can be used under medical supervision for the treatment of diverse ailments with the intention of:

  • Promoting the reduction of inflammation;
  • Inducing a muscle relaxant effect, or
  • Contributing to improving micro circulation

Treatment sessions are painless, can be conducted in the presence of metal implants and apart from rare, temporary recurrence of old symptoms, they do not have any side effects. It can even be used to treat children and animals.

It is well established that NASA (as well as the Russian Space Program) have long recognized the critical importance of maintaining the health of astronauts in space, using PEMF. In 2009, NASA was awarded a US patent – US 7,601,114 B2 – for their research on PEMF.  As an adjunct to the NASA tissue repair patent, pulsed magnetic fields were also used to stimulate the growth of stem cells.

The present investigation details the development of model systems for growing two- and threedimensional human neural progenitor cells within a culture medium facilitated by a time-varying electromagnetic field (TVEMF).
